Holiday Adoption Program

Each year, hundreds of families in our community struggle to experience the magic of the holidays. For more than 15 years, Mission’s Holiday Family Adoption Program has provided food baskets and gifts to Northeast Johnson County families. This event is supported entirely by donations and volunteers, including Mission’s businesses, residents, organizations and faith communities.

How can I be a part of the Holiday Family Adoption Program?

Make a tax deductible gift online below or by check, payable to the City of Mission Charitable Fund and sent to the Powell Community Center (6200 Martway St., Mission, KS 66202) . Cash donations are also accepted.
If your employer has a matching gift program, consider taking advantage of that opportunity to make your financial donation go further.
As a business, family or neighborhood group, consider adopting an entire family. For more information, contact Penn Almoney via email or by calling 913.722.8210.
Stop by the Powell Community Center (PCC) or City Hall to pull a tag from the tree. Wrap your gift(s) and return to the PCC by December 15.
