Bulky Item Collection

Each month, GFL will collect up to three (3) bulky items per month from Mission households. Bulky items are defined as items that can reasonably be carried by one or two individuals.

Accepted bulky items include:

• Couch
• Chair
• Mattress
• Carpet (Cut or bundled into 4′ sections)
• Table
• Residentially-generated items that do not fit in a trash cart (Does not include household trash)

Items that are excluded from bulky item pickup and will not be collected include:

• Electronics waste (e.g., computers, monitors, televisions)
• Hazardous waste
• Tires
• Automotive parts
• Construction materials
• Extra bags of trash

Residents can request a quote for additional pickups outside of monthly collection. To request a quote and schedule service, call GFL at 816.380.5595.
