The City is seeking youth members for the Parks, Recreation and Tree (PRT) and Sustainability Commissions. The commissions meet monthly- the Sustainability Commission meets on the first Monday of each month, and the PRT meets on the third Monday.

Joining the Commission is a great way to learn more about local government, participate in fun special events and volunteer activities and to develop leadership skills while benefiting the community where you live. Membership also is a great way to stay updated on what is happening in Mission and to guide and shape other important aspects of City services.

The youth seats aim to expand representation on Mission’s commissions as a goal of Mission’s status as a “Community for All Ages.”
