The City of Mission is seeking resumes from interest parties to fill three vacancies on our Boards and Commissions, each for a two-year term. Please see below and contact us with any questions.

Seeking Ward I, Ward II, or Ward III Residents for Mission’s Sustainability Commission – The City is seeking three members for open positions on the Sustainability Commission who are residents of Ward I, Ward II, or Ward III.

Seeking one Mission resident from Ward II for Mission’s Parks, Recreation and Tree Commission – The City is seeking one member for an open position on the Parks, Recreation and Tree Commission. Residents of Ward II should apply.

Seeking one Mission resident from Ward I for Mission’s Planning Commission. Residents of Ward I should apply.

Becoming a Commissioner is a great way to learn more about local government and to develop leadership skills while benefiting the community where you live. Membership is also a great way to stay updated on what is happening in Mission and to guide and shape other important aspects of City life. A letter of interest, including your address, along with a resume should be returned to Robyn Fulks, City Clerk, at rfulks@missionks.org. At this time, the open positions are available only to residents of the Wards listed, however if you are interested in future opportunities, please submit your information for those as well.  Resumes and letters of interest will be reviewed for open Commission positions both currently and for future opportunities.
