The City of Mission is developing a Safety Action Plan as part of its commitment to eliminating traffic fatalities and severe injuries for road users. Using funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Safe Streets and Roads for All program, the Mission Safety Action Plan will help identify where crashes occur, prioritize improvements to reduce crashes, and enhance Mission streets to ensure all people feel safe when walking, biking, riding, rolling, or driving.
Get Involved
Help the City of Mission better understand areas of concern and opportunities for road users in our community. By sharing your priorities and experiences, you can inform the creation of a Safety Action Plan that will seek to address road conditions and safety concerns. Get involved in two ways:
1) Take 7-10 minutes to fill out the Mission Safe Streets Community Feedback Survey. Your response will assist the City of Mission in creating a safety action plan, prioritizing projects, and understand areas of concern and opportunity. You are encouraged to provide feedback on Mission’s streets, trails, and sidewalks.
2) Participate in the Safe Streets Interactive Map. Drop a pin to designate places in Mission where you have concerns about traffic safety. Users can also place a marker for “Things I Like” or “Suggestions.” Explore the map to see where other respondents have shared concerns or questions!
