The City of Mission is developing a Safety Action Plan as part of its commitment to eliminating traffic fatalities and severe injuries for road users. Using funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Safe Streets and Roads for All program, the Mission Safety Action Plan will help identify where crashes occur, prioritize improvements to reduce crashes, and enhance Mission streets to ensure all people feel safe when walking, biking, riding, rolling, or driving.

What’s Next?

The City of Mission is working with its consultant team to analyze crash data alongside community feedback from the survey and map. This information will inform the development of the Safety Action Plan (SAP), which will serve as a strategic framework and toolbox for addressing roadway safety challenges across the city.
