New Work Request Software for Public Works is Here!

The City of Mission is pleased to announce that the Public Works Department is now utilizing Brightly’s Citizen Portal to manage and process work requests. This new system is part of our ongoing efforts to streamline services and enhance our ability to maintain and improve the City’s infrastructure. Access the Citizen Portal here to submit Public Works-related concerns including:
• Streets
• Signage
• Signals & Lights
• Snow Operations
• Stormwater
• Other
Please note: Requests for all other departments should continue to utilize the Report a Concern feature.

Steps!

An account is required to submit any work requests to the Public Works Department.
1. Head to the Citizen Portal: https://citizenportal.dudesolutions.com/MissionKS.
“Favorite” or “Bookmark” this link to easily access your account for updates on work requests and future uses. 
Accept the disclaimer and then click on Sign In/Register in the navigation menu. Enter the applicable information requested to create your account.
After registering, you will receive an email to activate your account. Please include your phone number in your account settings. 
2. Use the map to click on the location that needs attention or search for an address in the top right-hand corner. A GPS pin and “Create Work Request” purple button will generate after a location is selected.
3. In the side panel, select the Work Category that best describes your request. Enter a detailed description below, and if applicable, attach pictures using the camera icon.
4. A pop-up message will confirm your Work Request has been submitted.
Once a request has been submitted, you are not able to make any changes to it.
The Show My Requests tab on the menu will display your submissions. Click on a request to view additional information including the status. You will receive updates via email when your request is “In Progress” and “Completed.”
