Code Corner Spotlight: Tackling Weeds & Overgrown Vegetation
Keeping Mission beautiful starts right at home! Weeds and overgrown vegetation are some of the most common—and easily preventable—code violations. To stay in compliance and help foster neighborhood pride, remember to:
-
Keep lawns mowed to below 8 inches.
-
Remove brush, vines, and volunteer trees—especially around fences and at the base of trees.
-
Avoid sweeping or blowing yard debris into the street.
A well-maintained yard not only boosts curb appeal but also helps preserve property values and keeps our community looking its best year-round!
Did you know? You can purchase GFL Overage Stickers if you need to set out more yard waste than the standard 10-bag limit.
