You’re invited to join us throughout 2026 to Love Mission on its 75th birthday! We will kick off our celebration with our annual Citywide Cleanup, this year with the addition of a pancake breakfast to kick off the morning at the Powell Community Center. Mission officially turns 75 on Thursday July 2, so plan to join us that evening at the Mission Market at Broadmoor Park for cake, celebrations, games, prizes, and lots of fun! Our marquee event to celebrate this exciting milestone will be a throwback to the Mission of the 1960s and 1970s with a Johnson Drive street dance outside of the Mission Theater at Johnson Drive and Woodson Street.
