Join us for a free, secure way to shred sensitive documents and recycle electronics responsibly! This event offers a convenient drop-off for various items, open to residents of Fairway, Merriam, Mission, Mission Hills, Mission Woods, Prairie Village, Roeland Park, and Westwood. Proof of residency (driver’s license or utility bill) is required. This event is for residents only—no businesses, please.
What You Can Bring:
- Paper Shredding: Safely dispose of up to 10 file storage boxes of confidential documents (bank statements, tax returns, etc.). All binders and containers will be returned to you.
- Electronics Recycling: Secure e-Cycle will responsibly recycle electronics.
- Fees: $25 for computers and $40 for TVs (cash only).
- Everything else with a cord is free. For a list of accepted items, visit secureecycle.com/items.
- Eyeglasses: Donate old eyeglasses to support the Lions Recycle for Sight Program.
