1. Parks + Recreation Sales Tax Renewal Discussion – Laura Smith/Penn Almoney The City Council has determined that they will conduct a mail ballot election on September 20, 2022 for Mission voters to consider renewal of the dedicated Parks + Recreation Sales Tax. This is the second work session opportunity (the first was April 27) where Council will have the opportunity to review the parks related needs, projects and priorities for the next 10 years as decisions are made for recommending appropriate renewal rate as ballot language which must be finalized in June.
