Updated COVID-19 Protocols
March 30, 2022
City Hall Sign with sun

Since March 2020, we have worked successfully together to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic and the impacts it has had on our lives. We appreciate your patience as we have responded to various federal, state, county and local decisions intended to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 throughout our communities.

Effective Thursday, March 31, 2022.

  • City staff, visitors and patrons are no longer required to wear a mask while in City facilities.
  • Masks are still recommended for children aged 2-5.

Please continue to monitor your symptoms and stay home and test if you develop symptoms of COVID-19 or if you learn that you have been exposed to a positive case of COVID-19. Masks will remain available should you feel more comfortable wearing one at any time.

Every household in the US is eligible for two sets of 4 free at-home tests. You can order them through the mail here. Please continue to wash your hands often and avoid touching your face.

If you are considering a vaccine or a booster, Johnson County provides walk-in service at their offices at 6000 Lamar on Tuesdays (1-6:30 p.m.) and Thursdays (8 a.m.-3 p.m.). Read more information here.
