After no changes since 2014, Mission is adjusting the pricing and structure of Mission Family Aquatic Center season memberships. Now, everyone who uses a season pass will pay an individual rate, either resident or non-resident. Family passes will no longer be sold.
Season Pass Pricing:
- Resident: $35 (A 50% reduction from 2023 rates)
- Non-Resident: $50 (A 50% reduction from 2023 rates)
Admission is free for children under 2.
Daily passes are still available for $7.
The Splashpad is still available for no charge before the MFAC opens M-F 9-11:30AM and at the end of the season when the MFAC has reduced hours M-F 9AM-5PM.
The Super Pool Pass is still available. You may add on to your Mission Family Aquatic Center membership with a Super Pool Pass to visit pools in neighboring cities throughout the summer. Participating cities:
- Fairway
- Leawood
- Mission
- Prairie Village
- Roeland Park
Super Pool Pass Rates
- Resident Individual with Mission Pool Membership: $30; Non-Residents: $35
- Resident Family: $70 for family of 5, Non-Resident Family: $75 (Up to five people, $10 for each add’l member)
The changes are consistent with the membership structure at pools in neighboring cities Fairway, Leawood and Prairie Village and more realistically reflects the true costs of service for operations. Costs for chemical use, lifeguard pay and other facility needs have continued to climb. The flat rate structure simplifies memberships and streamlines membership verification and reflects a 50% reduction for individual pass holders.
