Photos to Promote the Planning Commission

The City is seeking to fill several vacancies on the Mission Planning Commission. Those living in each of Mission’s four wards are encouraged to apply. The Planning Commission meets monthly as needed to consider issues of land use related to proposed development and redevelopment projects in Mission. The group serves an important role in ensuring that development aligns with the community’s Comprehensive Plan, and the long term vision and values for the community.

To apply, please submit a resume and a letter of interest to the City Administrator, Laura Smith, at lsmith@missionks.org. Staff will reach out to set meetings with the Mayor with those interested in serving. The goal is to make appointments in the coming weeks, ahead of the 2022 meeting schedule.
