The City is seeking to fill vacancies on the Sustainability Commission and on the Parks, Recreation and Tree Commission (PRT). Those living in each of Mission’s four wards are encouraged to apply. The commissions each meet monthly (Sustainability: First Monday of the month; PRT: Third Monday of the month.) Joining a Commission is a great way to learn more about what is happening in the community and to guide and shape important aspects of City services.
To apply, please submit a resume and a letter of interest to the City Administrator, Laura Smith, at email@example.com. Staff will reach out to set meetings with the Mayor with those interested in serving. The goal is to make appointments in the coming weeks, ahead of the 2022 meeting schedule.
