Construction at Mohawk Park is progressing. Phase 1 improvements include:
- new bathrooms and a pavilion centrally located within the park,
- tiered concrete seating,
- plaza tie-ins to the existing trail system,
- demolition of the existing west parking lot with a new parking lot located on the south,
- ADA sidewalk and improved pedestrian/crosswalk access,
- landscaping, benches and trash receptacles
