The City of Mission has closed the limb drop-off at Mohawk Park (67th and Lamar Avenue) for the week, but will be accepting fallen limbs at the park one final day, Saturday, August 5, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
 
Limb Drop-OffThe City of Mission has closed the limb drop-off at Mohawk Park (67th and Lamar Avenue) for the week, but will be accepting fallen limbs at the park one final day, Saturday, August 5, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. This will be the final day accepting limbs related to the July 22nd storm event.

Please bring limbs only (no construction debris or other materials) to the parking lot off of Lamar Ave. 
No commercial vehicles; Mission residents only, must show proof of residency.

Residents may also prepare limbs to be collected as part of normal yard waste collection by Waste Management at the curb. Residents are allowed up to 8 (January-October) set outs (any combination of bins, bags, or bundles) each week. Additional set-outs may be placed at the curb with a Waste Management overage sticker which may be purchased at City Hall or Sylvester Powell, Jr. Community Center for $1.50 per sticker.

Limb bundles prepared for curbside collection should be tied with twine, and no more than 4 feet long and 18 inches in diameter. Items cannot weigh more than 65 pounds. Individual limbs placed for pickup must be no larger than 1.5 inches in diameter. No large limbs, branches, or logs. 

If residents are not able to prepare large limbs for curb collection, please contact a private tree and lawn service.
