Department Responsibilities:
- Street Maintenance - Street sweeping, asphalt patching, crack sealing, pothole repair, and capital street project management. (Report a Pothole here).
- Park Maintenance - Mowing, planting & landscaping, trash removal, restroom maintenance (Broadmoor), tree trimming, playground inspections, contract management of service contractors providing mowing, landscaping, and cleaning services.
- Stormwater Maintenance - Storm drain box repairs, creek channel maintenance, illicit discharge reporting, NPDES permitting, quarterly inspections at City facilities, and capital stormwater project management. See a map of the City's bridges here.
- Snow Removal - Treatment and plowing of city streets, park sidewalks, parking lots, & trails and storage of highway rock salt / sand/salt mix.
- Permitting and Inspection - Administration of right of way, post construction (stormwater), and land disturbance (sediment control) permits. Access an FAQ about permitting here.
- Streetlights & Traffic Signals - Report outages and provide intermittent traffic control.
